Pressure vessels and boilers

A tank represents a steel vessel — the special hermetically sealed construction intended for storage, transportation of various substances and carrying out chemical and thermal processes.

The Gazenergohim enterprise manufactures vessels and devices under the pressure up to 200 m³ (CBM). This type of vessels can be operated only with a pressure which does not exceed 16 000 kPag and at a temperature of walls not below -70 degC. The capacitive equipment of our production is widely used in various installations within chemical, oil and gas industries, as well as other branches. Production of vessels is carried out according to state and international standards.

The Gazenergohim enterprise manufactures the following types of tank for petrochemical industry:

  • underground horizontal drainage vessels;
  • capacitive devices with steel welding in various executions;
  • capacitive cylindrical devices for use within various types of environments (horizontal devices for liquid environments, vertical devices for liquid environments, vertical devices for gaseous environments);
  • LNG vessels (vessels for propane, vessels for butane);
  • oil and gas separators;
  • gas mesh separators;
  • oil settlers;
  • air collectors (vertical, horizontal);
  • devices with the mixing units;
  • boilers.

Tanks for storage of petrochemical products under pressure are equipped with control measuring instruments for temperature and pressure measurement inside a vessel, as well as special safety devices and locking elements. Production of vessels of this type demands special control over quality of welded seams. Each employee of our enterprise undergoes special certification, the operational tool and the machine equipment is carefully checked. Materials, which we use in production, are of the best quality and are from the checked suppliers.

Welded seams of capacitive equipment pass the following types of control regarding quality in factory laboratory:

  • visual inspection control;
  • leakage control (impermeability) of welded seams (test "chalk-kerosene");
  • physical methods for identification of internal defects (radiography and ultrasonic defectoscopy);
  • capillary method and magnetic powder defectoscopy.


Within design and production procedures of capacitive equipment, our enterprise uses several options of bottoms design:

  • elliptic;
  • toro spherical;
  • spherical;
  • conic;  
  • flat;
  • bolts-attached, etc.


The choice of material for vessel production is very important. When determining the brand of steel the design department considers the following factors:

  • temperature of a wall and the stored substance;
  • composition of substance and its environment;
  • pressure;
  • material resistance to physical and chemical loads.

It is considered as well the location of a vessel under pressure. If operation is supposed in the open air, then the range of temperatures of the region of installation of a vessel is considered.

Tanks of the GEE, VEE, VEP, GPP, VPP, VPS, GKK, VKE and VKP types

These tanks are of cylindrical form. The construction assumes existence of nozzles necessary for connection of controlling devices and other technological hatches and branch pipes. Purpose of these vessels consists in reception, delivery and storage of various liquids and gases. As a rule, these constructions are calculated on pressure up to 1600 kPag. In designation of a construction the first letter designates the provision of a vessel (vertical or horizontal). The subsequent two letters allow to define type of its bottom. Each element is marked by special number that gives explanations to its construction features: presence of heating devices and flange sockets (or their absence), as well as vessel’s volume.

Underground vessels

These are the steel tanks of a cylindrical form provided with two hatches and a conic-type the bottom. Hatches are necessary for maintenance of a tank and for pumping out of the stored oil products (of other environment) by means of the submersible pumping equipment.

These underground drainage vessels are used for discharge and storage of the following liquids:

  • Oil wastes and remains;
  • dark and light refined oil products;
  • oils;
  • condensate;
  • drainage liquids from mud-collecting filters.

All these liquids can be stored on condition when sulfurous acid presence does not exceed 1,8%. Vessels can be equipped with a heater (EPP). The volume of EP and EPP can be from 5 to 63 m³ and is calculated on pressure up to 70 kPag.

LNG pressure vessels

These tanks are intended for storage of such liquefied gases as propane and butane, as well as mixes of these gases (LNG).

They are made in several modifications:

  • ground,
  • underground;
  • double-walled;
  • one-wall construction.

Standard tanks for LNG have nozzles, arrangement of which is defined according to requirements of the customer and the design management.

Gas separator 

Capacitive device is intended for final removal of various liquids from oil gas (water and various inhibitors). This equipment has strict restrictions on the content of liquid arriving together with gas (200 cm3/mm3) and on the conditional pressure (600 - 4000 kPag). Such designs are applied at the oil processing plants in regions of the Russian Federation where the seismic activity does not exceed 9 points.

Oil and gas separator

These are horizontal cylindrical constructions equipped with the special chipper for division of oil and gas streams, defoaming nozzles and other technical means. Vessels are used for removal of gas from not foaming oil and clarification of gases in places of collecting products at oil fields. Tanks are manufactured with volume from 6 to 50 m³ and with a diameter from 1,2 to 3 m.

Calculation of cost of capacity is conducted individually, according to the project documentation of the customer or the questionnaire.
